Welcome to the home page of the Amarillo Reformed Fellowship, which is also affectionately known by its members as "ARF."
We are an alliance of pastors in Amarillo and the surrounding area, who have united together in Christian unity and fellowship. This outward unity is an expression of our common understanding of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
The word Gospel simply refers to the good news of Jesus that is revealed to us in God's Holy Word. In fact it is GREAT news that Jesus gave himself as the perfect sacrifice to pay the penalty which our sin deserves. Scripture reveals the salvation of God's people as His mighty work of grace by which he applies the completed work of Jesus to sinful man by the power of His Holy Spirit.
God's Word tells us of His soveriegn grace in the lives of His children, at which we marvel in humility at His unfailing love by which he redeems, adopts, sanctifies, and glorifies the beloved bride of Christ, the church.
Ephesians 2:4-10 "But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ by grace you have been saved and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them."
